The school community council gives stakeholders the opportunity to have direct input regarding resources and expenditures allotted to schools from Utah's Land Trust fund. Parents and school employees have the opportunity to be members of a school's community council. The council creates an academically focused plan and determines how these funds will be allocated in support of academic achievement and growth. If you are interested in being a part of the Valley View Elementary Community Council please contact the principal or head secretary at 801-476-5200

A community council parent member has to have a child enrolled at our school during the parent's or guardian's term of office. Each member serves on the community council for a two-year term.

If needed, we will hold an election to vote for parent members at the beginning of each school year. Only a parent of a student attending the school may vote. The election will take place electronically via a Google Form.
