Valley View Literacy Night

Join us from 6:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 1st, 2019

Mrs. Huerta, Ms. Rhoades, Mrs. Hogge, and Ms. Yamashita will be in the library to share quick and easy ideas to help you work with your students at home.  Ideas will cover phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension.

In designated classrooms, students will be listening to stories read by our local "Superheroes" from the police department, fire department, and military.  After hearing stories, students will have an opportunity to ask questions and write thank you notes to our local heroes.

Students may dress up as superheroes but remember to follow dress code expectations and not bring weapons.
